Stoneground Bread

This bread is simple to make, slightly sweet, and also tastes great with soup.

4 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups brown sugar
4 tsp baking soda
2 Tb salt
4 cups buttermilk

Stoneground Bread


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Oil bottom of a 9X13 inch pan with canola oil; place parchment paper in bottom of pan and oil again.

Mix all dry ingredients together.  Make a well in the center of dry mixture and pour in buttermilk. Mix together and pour into pan. Bake for 45 Minutes.
