1 1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups ground almonds
4 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups sifted flour
Powdered sugar for rolling

Italian Wedding Cookies


Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.

In a large mixer, whip butter, salt and powdered sugar.  Add almonds, vanilla and slowly add the flour.

Mix until all ingredients are combined.

Shape the dough into balls and place on cookie sheet.  
Bake for 15-20 minutes.  Remove from oven and coat completely with powdered sugar while still very warm.
